"Another odd title from the deep south. Published by the Times Printing Works in New Zealand this is issue 16 of this title and though undated is probably late fifties. I've yet to come across any other issues.
Reprinting US western tales of the fifties, this contains two Indian stories. The first is a Spotted Bear story, that was first published in the Texan #7 ( April 1950-St. John). Because I have a scan of this latter, I've included the colour original from the Texan in this scan, to go with the black and white reprinting here. Ernesto
The Red Hawk story is from Magazine Enterprise's Straight Arrow #9 (January 1951) It has been edited down from 7 to 6 pages. Joe
Artists featured in this issue include Matt Baker and Bob Powell."
