Many thanks, RH. Can't believe there are only three issues (#3, 8, 16) missing on the site.

Captain Aero Comics #6 (missing ifc and ibc)
1941
Captain Aero cover
Captain Aero King of the Sky Trails
Alias X
Commandos of the Devil Dogs  (Chas. M. Quinlan)
Aladdin and the Magic Hour Glass
East of Coringa by Willfred Waddington (text story)
PT Patrol
Captain Aero's Sky Scouts (Chas. M. Quinlan)
Angel 1pg
Miss Victory (AL TEWS and Chas. M. Quinlan)

Enjoyed the issue a good deal, especially the "Alias X" story. It's wonderful that a complete collection of the series is a distinct possibility.

I was completely unaware that the Duke had his own comic series, but it makes perfect sense.

Glad to help, RH.
The early issues have some VERY energetic and powerful Williamson/Frazetta efforts. I have the following:
JOHN WAYNE                  2,3,6,8,12,19,21,27,29,31

Speaking of Williamson, I JUST purchased his VERY FIRST comic book appearance! It's a secret, but if you read his interviews and use the GCD, you, too, can discover it.

Jim can you check John Wayne 6 and see if it has a feature called Pot Shot Pete? Mad 15 on GCD has Pot Shot coming from John Wayne 6 but I doubt it.

Geo, close, but not the first. You have to read the interviews with Al and then use GCD to find the story.

Pot Shot Pete is indeed in JW #5, narf. Kurtzman must have retained the rights to the work he did at Toby?

Jim,  was it?  "The Ugliest Horse in the World"  not sure the issue? Famous Funnies # ??

also I've posted previews on DCM's Facebook page of

Silver Streak Comics #13
Silver Streak Comics #14
Silver Streak Comics #18
Wings Comics #2
Fight Comics #17
Catman #21
Big Shot Comics #15

All RAW,  but I've finally figured out scanner so makes the edits fast also.

Scanned all in about 2-3 hours

Don't expect anytime soon,  I will post after I edit.   Looks like Silver Streak #14 missing its centerfold
