This was first work completed from Top Down Scan.   I scanned two pages at at time as single file.  The with corel draw photo paint edited and cut out each page.  Then had to turn a litte left or right.  When auto enhance was enable very little changed (so didnt do it).  The scan produced very good color and clarity so I left colors alone.   When scanning face up both pages are scanned at once, entire 300 dpi scan take less that 6 minutes for entire comic.   BUT it still take forever to edit.. lol   So I'm going to experiment with scanner trying to keep entire 300 dpi scan under 15 min.  but have pages already as single pages,  and since colors are already pretty good.  ??  I want to attempt to get entire process under a hour..   EDITing still takes hours for me.

Feedback?  How do you think colors look on this scan?

Hmm, well, if you are asking the colours seem a wee bit muted on my admittedly dark monitor.  Like they might use a touch more contrast.  Others might disagree.  But all in all they are fine.

YOC I see my thumbnail is out of control,  its under a 1 meg  ... ??  Should I repost and make comic smaller or wont it fix thumbnail

Hi RH,
Yes, if you could make the very first cover scan a smaller version say 1000pts wide and Then your nice big version I think the cover thumbnail maker will like it.
You can edit or delete your current upload under User_CP - and inside Approved Files.

Let me know if you need help.

I got rid for first file and replaced with small cover but still same huge thumbnail

all seems to be ok now in the preview area for Latest Uploaded Comices (see more)

but when you click on Captain Aero 24  the thumbnail is still huge

It's small now.
An extra cover is fine as long as the first one is small, the second can be your usual larger one.

You would have to re-upload the entire file to make changes, sorry.  I can't edit a file once it's on our server much as I wish I could!

Sorry for the trouble RH.  Darwin and Cimm have been known to have the same.

Well ALL , Captain Aero Comics only one I have left for this series is issue #7   Its already scanned just have to edit. 

That leaves a few fixes, and Issues 3, 6, 8, and 16.  (I'm out of leads)

JVJ has 8 maybe another,  I will keep looking ...    Then on to something else.  (I think Silver Streak next) I have 3 of them and they all have crazy content. Also have Captain Flight 1, 10, and 11 to edit.

btw DCM member 'jeffcannell' has a copy of SilverStreak #2 I did a repair on for him.  I hope he'll be sharing the rest someday.
