Comment made at: Bill Battle 03 (diff ver)At least for one of the pages. The opening black and white page is by the artist that John Vadenoncoeur Jr. once identified als Clem Weisbeckr. Only, I don't think that was him and I did a whole post about it on my blog, here:
https://allthingsger.blogspot.com/2013/05/curious-clem-saturday-leftover-day.html. The real artist I think is Josh Benton, who is best know for doing a Li'l Abner imitation newspaper strip in the late forties set in Colonial times and called Jasper Jooks. He also did some sighned work for the American Air Force Features tabloid and I show all the visual evidence in my blog post. The first and last stroy seem to me very much like the work Ernie Schroeder did for G.I. Joe, possibly with a different inker. But I am not really wel versed enough in Fawcett artists to make that claim with full confidence.
