Having had enough the husband snaps and the next night joins his friends at the bowling alley with a new ball: his wife's head!

Seemingly unharmed, he attends the play only to find the players portraying his murder of his brother. Thinking he has gone insane, he is horrified when a ghoul-like creature tells him he will be forced to view the sordid episodes of his life forever. Victor never found out he actually died in that car accident and is now doomed to spend eternity in a hell of his own making.

Thinking he's finally free, Crane is aghast when he is menaced by a demonic presence, and never realizes he's hopelessly insane, and that he never killed anyone at all - it was all part of his mental delirium.
