digital picture scan.

---
Noted this scan will not work in CDisplay for reading. Jetstone was making these as CMYK formatted scans saved at 32bits. Neither are typical jpgs. BUT if you use a newer scan reader it will normally work fine. Jet has since changed his technique and future scans shouldn't be a problem.
Jetstone's second scan for DCM.

Comment: Since these are meant to be viewed on screens, they should be saved as RGB and not CMYK. The resulting files will be smaller with essentially the same quality. A monitor will convert them to RGB for viewing anyway, and there's no practical reason to keep CMYK files unless you plan on editing them for separations for 4C printing. Also, if you are able, removing the staples and scanning flat pages will improve your gutters and overall appearance. However, if you remove the staples, you will probably not be able to replace them to original condition. You can Google to find articles on scanning comics. I have no how helpful they might be, but what could it hurt to take a look?

Comment: Thanks lrek. I passed along your suggestions to Jet and he's since changed his technique for future scans. We don't anticipate problems in his next scan.
