Comment: Yeah, there's no doubt at all that Moe M. Down is by Hanks, I'm surprised there was even a second of doubt about it. Though, I went to the web link from the other posts and I'm even MORE surprised that Paul Karasik apparently didn't notice that Moe's face was clearly being added by a different artist! Fletcher obviously had no facility at all for goofy comedy stuff as evidenced by the far less than successful attempts on all the other background characters. Also, the linework on Moe's face looks absolutely nothing like anything Fletcher ever did. It's far more delicate and focused.
