Synopsis: Janette took over her father's restaurant when he died. With the help of Charlie, she makes it a success. Janette hires Lee as a counterman but Charlie dislikes him because he's popular with the female employees. Lee tells Janette that he had a restaurant of his own but his ex-girlfriend stole it from him while he was in the Navy. Lee kisses Janette and Charlie hits him, but Janette explains that she loves Lee.

When Betty shows up for a visit, she sees Kerry has to drink to overcome his nerves. Earl tells Betty that if Kerry is romantically linked with a nobody, it'll ruin his career. Betty tells a reporter that she's Kerry's wife and Kerry realises that Earl has been mis-managing him. Kerry and Betty will wed and she'll help him as before.

When Bob dumps her, Elise goes to a bar and is propositioned by a wolf. Martin steps in and he and Elise realise they are made for each other.
