They’d made plans to come to the lodge for their honeymoon, but she died shortly afterward. Although Ralph protests that he loves Stella now, their stay is ruined. But when Ralph goes hiking and doesn’t return on time, Stella remembers a crush she had in high school on her history teacher, one that she eventually got over. Stella joins the search party and rescues Ralph. The honeymoon is saved.

George: “You’re mastered by an obsession that has complete control of your most sacred emotions!” When Pete is injured at the airport, Nina misses her flight to help him, and decides she can contribute even in a small city. Nina and George get married. She gives up nursing “entirely” when she becomes pregnant.
