| Synopsis: |
Tomboy Dot quits her job as a waitress to join Duke’s “Roller Riot” (roller derby) team. She makes friends with Bill, the men’s team captain, but fellow skater Cora is jealous of the attention Duke is paying to Dot. After a skirmish, Duke assigns Cora to another team, and promotes the feud between the two women. Dot’s injured in a match and learns Duke—who is married—made love to both Cora and Dot to foment their enmity. Dot and Bill retire from roller skating to get married and live on his farm. |
