Comment: I thought it strange that the focus of these comics was obsessively on law and order with mercy shown in only a few of the cases related in this series.

Unfortunately, his excessive drinking began to ruin his life, specifically his marriage and his job, and he eventually landed in jail because he couldn't pay off his gambling debts.
