||Dave and Lisa have to postpone their wedding when his father needs an operation that takes all his savings. Later, when Dave’s saved up more, he has to loan it to his sister’s husband. Lisa says they can get married anyway, but Dave “won’t get married without a nest egg!” One day, Lisa shows him that she’s saved $5000—-she converted her diary entries into love stories and sold them. She promises to quit writing after they’re married.
