Synopsis: |
After her boyfriend David is killed in the war, Nina tries to lose herself in a job with the Whittaker Corporation. She accepts the marriage proposal of Edward, son of the company’s owner Julia. Julia insists Nina resign her job and devote her time to planning the wedding. Nina bumps into George, a longtime suitor, and he warns her that the Whittakers are snobs. She says she can’t go back on her promise, but when Edward demands Nina write a letter to his mother apologizing for talking to George, Nina breaks up with him. She marries faithful George. |
