Synopsis: Elaine married TV repairman Larry while still in high school; 18 months later she hates her life as a mother and housewife. After Elaine goes to the beach with friends and takes their baby along, Larry takes the infant and goes home to his mother. After a few weeks of socializing with her friends, Elaine still feels emotionally empty. Larry and the baby pay her a visit. Elaine apologizes and agrees to be “a full-time wife!”

Andre reappears at a costume ball and Brenda says she doesn’t love him: Tom is the man for her. “Andre” unmasks: it’s Tom.

However, her father says he asked Joe to infiltrate the gang to help catch them. Connie and Joe are reunited

She falls in love with her new boss Bruce, even though he warns her that he can't stand liars. Carol mistakenly wins a store slogan contest, but doesn’t admit the error. Bruce breaks up with her as a result, and Carol realizes it must have been his entry that she took credit for. She confesses everything and Bruce forgives her.
