Synopsis: |
Sue dates new high school student Bart after her friend Diana dumps him because Bart is dull. Sue doesn’t mind Bart’s interest in horticulture, or even his friendly dog Rusty. On the night of the prom, Bart’s dog is killed but he decides to accompany Sue anyway. However, he gives Sue an orchid corsage rather than the roses that all the other girls received from their dates. Bart explains: he cut all the roses in his greenhouse and put them on Rusty’s grave. Sue understands and kisses Bart. |
