Comment made at: Lightning Comics v1 004 (inc) -upgradeThe last story, Whiz Wilson, scientific genius with a futuroscope (strapped to his body) that shifts him around in time and space (including interstellar travel) with great precision, is kind of cool, and my favorite here. It has typical GA kinetic narrative energy but with an unusual, and imaginative, premise. I hope to be able to read more of his adventures.
I just remembered that Alan Moore in the later Miracleman stories had a race called Warpsmiths who could move any distance in space (not time) instantly and it was a formidable power, Whiz uses his device with the same kind of ingenuity Moore used, more so even since Whiz can move about in time too, and the narrative logic of it all is strong.
