Harvey Comics Library 001 (Teen-Aged Dope Slaves)(SOTI) -upgrade


This was used in Seduction of the Innocent? Yet the contents are reprints of the Rex Morgan MD newspaper comic strip. This just shows how morally bankrupt the author was. I seriously doubt he campaigned against children being allowed to read the newspaper because of the strips.

Well, maybe so but is it more likely he wasn't really up on the idea of strip reprints?
Today we know he wasn't at all above twisting his 'data' to fit his goals so nothing really surprises me.

True enough, but with some of those, like the "Foul Play" panels, he didn't have to.

Oh for sure there were some comics that crossed the line.  But to blame comics for juvenile delinquency and demand they be banned was beyond the pale.
