I wouldn't call this a "Canadian white", since the story pages are in color. According to Wikipedia, Canadian whites are WWII era Canadian comics with color covers and black & white interiors. It's also a bit late to be called "WWII era".
Correct.  Superior wasn't one of The Canadian publishers that started up during WWII, when foreign comic books were no longer allowed to be imported into Canada because of Wartime paper use restrictions.  They started in late 1945, near the end of The War.  They mainly imported US comic books, or packaged their material.  Canadian artwork production was a very minor percentage of the pages they printed. That was even more true of their issues whose inside pages were black and white.  They lasted all the way until 1956, while the Canadian Whites publishers, like Bell Features, Anglo-American, and Maple Leaf, all tried switching to full colour comics and having most of their output be imported US material, but the high cost of the colour printing and competition of the many US publications caused them to cease operations in 1946 or 1947.  It would be an interesting article explaning how Superior was able to survive 9 years longer.
