Takes me back to years of my youth, would collect pop bottles around my neighborhood and redeem them at local grocery store for $.02 cents each. In the summer on good day could collect enough to purchase a .10 comic usually Superman/boy, Ho stuff or Archie, a package of Hostess chocolate cupcakes, and money for trip to city park pool. Also does anyone remember a newspaper comic strip in 1950's called Roy or Boy Orbit? Can remember reading Sunday comics around 1958 or 1959 in which he landed on moon just a head of Russian spaceship. Don't remember date of Sunday funnies pages was in with bunch of old newspapers so could have been older that date I found it. Thanks for any info someone might be able to shed on this. BG
