Wow!
I collected comics in the '80s--mostly Marvel, mostly then-current stuff, with a few tattered Silver Age books found here and there--and have more recently found classic strips like Little Nemo and Flash Gordon, but I never got to see much in the way of comic books from the Golden Age, so finding this site--it was linked from the Wikipedia article on The Weeper (
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Weeper ), who showed up in an episode of "Batman: The Brave and the Bold" that I saw on Netflix recently--is really, *really* exciting!
I was so excited I told all my comic-reading friends, and wrote a breathless little article about DCM on my blog (
here), and I heard back from a few folks who were excited to find this site too. As a guy who's trying to make his own comics these days, I'm especially thrilled about having access to all these great old sci-fi stories, which have already started to fuel ideas and inspiration.
Just great. Thanks to everyone who has helped put this tremendous resource together for the rest of us! I know I'm gushing a bit but my head is still spinning a little bit over being able to read all these books! : D
