Don on Dell
« on: November 24, 2013, 07:07:17 AM »
Hi,
The Don Winslow -4c0022- should be renamed 4c0022 (series 1), like the Dick Tracy (4c0021) is named. The original 4c series ran 25 issues, and the numbering then was re-started.
The Winslow & Tracy are the only two series-1 currently on the site. Maybe a separate section is needed?
While I'm here... can I up 4c0023 (series 1) - Gang Busters? There's already a 4c0024 (series 2) issue on the site.

Thanks Len.
I've created a Series 1 sub-folder for it but I'm asking people to not upload to it.  Like the entire series, they are a minefield of licensed properties we are not able to confirm the PD status of at this time.

Do I have access to the uploaded 4Colors because of my 'status' on the site?
I thought all the ones i was seeing were publicly available, so if there's one issue of Gangbusters, why not two.
Also, Popular carries the strip, or is this like Red Ryder where the whole comic is copyrighted, but not the strip if it appears in other titles?
