Tom Mix Western artist?
« on: March 19, 2013, 11:40:49 PM »
Some scans of Fawcett's Tom Mix Western have gone up here recently, reminding me that there seem to be no credits (or even guesses) on GCD over who drew the stories in that series. The art is quite decent -more so than in some other Fawcett comics, such as their horror titles. (YMMV)... Not all stories were by the same artist, but many of them mere. A good guess at who pencilled and inked, even in one issue, could open up avenues of exploration. JVJ? Anyone? Any guesses?

I haven't spent much time looking at them to be able to start distinguishing artists. Fawcett is hard for me on the ones I have looked at, lots of shop and assembly line work. Two names I've seen associated with the title are Carl Pfeufer and Pete Riss.
