Best books for fantasy, monster, or sci-fi monster art
« on: August 13, 2012, 09:34:59 PM »
This site is great!  I love it and am thankful for everyone's hard work on it.  It is a bit overwhelming though, there is so much great material!  My question is this, which books have the best fantasy style art, knight, wizards, etc. "Primitive" subjects are also ok.

In addition, which books have the best monsters, horror, sci-fi or otherwise?

Thank you again!

Cheers!

I can't understand why nobody offered to help you, but I'll try.

I don't read the Arthurian comics, so I can't help. but for the Sci Fi/Fantasy/Monster titles, Atlas (later Marvel) had some good titles sometimes, DC and Charlton did also. Warren Publishing did several horror titles that covered many genres. I can't think of all the titles, but some of the Charltons are here. It's not allowed to specify any sites that are pirating comic scans not in public domain, so please Google for them.

I apologize for not being able to be specific, but I hope that helps some.
