Never been to Birmingham, but I once went to a wedding in a small town named "Hico" which isn't far north of Baton Rouge. Only there for two days so I didn't see that much beside the Baton Rouge airport. I'm from Wyoming, so I am very impressed with the size of your rivers. I think you will find a lot of material here which you will enjoy, no matter which way your tastes run.

Thanks for all the kind emails guys much appreciated.  However I'm in Birmingham UK not Alabama.  So a fair old way from you guys!  Good to be talking to you though as I have many friends in the USA who collect!
