Always a fun day.  I got to the store early enough that they still had the Mouse Guard hardcover; that seems to be the one expected to disappear fastest.  My personal favorite was the Barnaby & Mr. O'Malley; though.  The Barnaby collections cannot show up soon enough for me!

I also picked up the "Mouse Guard" book Eric, (a very nice book by the way for a give a way), and they didn't seem to be going fast here anyway, but again I got there early and the line was long before getting in. Picked up a couple of books from the list that I wanted to get, they seem to have had every one that was available this time around.

Since I get a pull on Jurassic Strike Force my LCS pulled a copy for me. They do not get many of the really odd titles that he knows I like. I have not read many of my pick-ups yet. I did read FCB from PaperCutz. When I picked it up my wife said "Tinkerbell, your going to get Tinkerbell." Well yes I did. I was curious about how the character would be handled. Actually not bad, and a recommended kids book. Tinkerbell is a tinker. She tinkers around and makes think. Interesting take. With Tink was Dance Glass. A series of gag pages with some being pretty funny. On the other side was Smurfs. I did not find last years the least bit funny so I did not bother to read it. However, with Smurfs was an excerpt from My Best Friend is a Germ. I went to Comixology to buy it because I really liked it. The problem is it is hardcover with hardcover prices  :'( I would pay $6 because it has 48 pages but not $10 or more. There are some other volumes also. Hope these will come out in paperback. Papercutz ad pages shows that they have some neat stuff. I just went to comixology had put a pull on Papercutz Slices: The Hunger Pains parody.
