I was wondering if anybody else had tried reading comics from here on one. I'm actually posting this from my brand new one.  Not sure if there's a CBZ reader app for android at this point, but I was getting surprisingly good results just using the preview feature.

And that's enough trying to type on this when I'm in the same room as two real computers.  But I had to try it as proof of concept, and I'm sure I'll appreciate it quite a bit when I'm not at home!

I used to use PV on kindle fire but have switched to Comicat now. And yes, like you mentioned, comics looks excellent on Kindle fire. The screen size also makes it easier to hold while reading.

I have noticed that once unzipped and transferred via mini-cable DCM's books translate well, rather than use ANY reader I simply drag them to the Photos section and read away.

According to rumour, Kindle Fire should be released in U.K end January. But as none of the major retailers, or Amazon U.K., have any mention of this on their sites, I'm not holding my breath. Many punters are going for  other devices, so the market for Fire is dwindling a bit.  I wish Amazon would get the finger out.

The Kindle Fire is what I use to read just about all of my comics nowadays. I use Perfect Viewer most of the time, Challenger Viewer on occasion. Best way to read digital comics IMO.

The best Android comicreader bar none is Comicrack.
available as a free or paid (£5 uk) worth every penny.
