as I read that the copyright of the comics (you have here for download) has expired, I just wanted to ask an important question:
May one use the pictures (or parts of them) in the comics for shirtdesign, coverartwork or similar things?

I would be lucky to hear something eligible!

The are all in the public domain, which means nobody owns them. Or, everybody owns them and can do with them what they please.

At least, that's the theory, but we aren't lawyers, so beware. ;-)

I do not really have any project running - but itīs just interesting, if parts can be used for artworkthings!
Maybe even a backgroundscene or something like this … but itīs right: if one does something like this, a lawyer has to be contacted before!
