Promethean Enterprises - questions for JVJ

Hey Jim!
Do you own the copyright to issues of Promethean Enterprises or does Bob Plant?

If you, are you planning on reprinting material from the old issues?
If not, why don't you allow Promethean Enterprised to be scanned, like you did your old comics?

I think #5 is the only issue I have and as I said before, I think it's the best fanzine ever.
I'd like to read the other issues.

I ahave all the original Alter Egos (earliest issues in redrawn reprints), all but one issue of Star Studded Comics, most or all the Biljo White Batmania issues, some but not all the Fantasy Illustrated issues, Graphic Story World (one or 2), Gosh Wow!, Vanguard (one issue), Comic Crusaders (most), a few of the Fighting Hero mimeo issues, All Stars 1 & 2, Comic Art (one issue - I regret that I let a friend keep the issue with the long then definitive Barks article), etc.

Hi, Bob,
The copyright to Promethean Enterprises issues is shared by Bud Plant, Al Davoren and me. The copyright to the contents is owned by the individual artists - we three only having first publication rights.

My old comics are in the Public Domain while the PE issues are not. Pretty simple reason.

Thanks for the compliment. I still have fond memories of issue #5, as well as a lingering sense of trepidation over the prolonged efforts it took to produce it. Do you remember IBM Selectric typewriters? I typed that Robert Crumb interview (sixteen three columns, justified, three different font pages) on one of those. Jeez, what a job!

I have no idea of what fanzines I own any more - probably more than I can imagine.
