Captain Flight #4 September 1944 waiting.... ;D

x2 Captain Flight stories by Frank Stevens
Kit Kelly by An Dawson
Top Bowers by Ed Forre
Ace Reynolds War Correspndent by Tex Lee
Rock Raymond by Trace R. Bullet

I think it's supposed to be "Dan Dawson" (with the "D" doing double duty).

And still not one of the names is a real person. All house aliases.

Slug McLug is Fred Schwab
Tex Lee is by C.A. Winter
Rock Raymond is H.C. Kiefer.

FWIW.

Captain Flight #5 ready and waiting...

Missing IFC and IBC
Captain Flight by Frank Stevens
Secret Agent 2B-3 by John Jordan
The Red Rocket
The Grenade written and Drawn by Bill Boynansky
Rock Raymond by Trace R. Bullet
Deep Sea Dawson by Gordon Fisher

Thanks rangerhouse

Ditto here for the aliases, with the very notable exception of the Bill Boynansky Grenade strip. What a wild one!

Plug McTee is Fred Schwab
ZB-3 is Charles M. Quinlan
and Rock Raymond is still H.C. Keifer

last two with Iger Shop inks, of course.

Nice cover on this one. Reminiscent of the Kamen/Feldstein/Baker Iger era. This might even BE Alex Blum and early Baker. It would coincide with Baker's earlier work at Iger and they WERE providing most of the content to these Four Star titles. Makes me wonder all the more where Boynansky came from!

52 (or 48, however you want to count) according to GCD.

Did you want me to snag a better cover (and a back cover) from heritage?  They have them.

For some reason, we seem to be missing the index card for Power #4. Why I neglected to send it to Blastaar is a mystery. Here are the credits:
cover: L.B. Cole (signed)
Sinister Suitcase: Mort Leav (signed)
Black Raider: George Appel (signed)
Pets or No Pets: George Harrison
Dr. Mephisto: "The Bubble Artist" (signed)
Miss Espionage: "Reece" = Maurice Whitman and Rudy Palais
Merlin the Boy Magician: Leo Morey
Note that the Dr. Mephisto artist is the same artist who was doing Fairy Tale Parade stories a couple of years earlier.

As for Suspense #4:
Tombstone - George Appel
Invitation to Horror - Jack Alderman
pg. 22 - Nina Albright
Worthless Wiggins - Morris Weiss
