First, a Christmas Eve ghost of scans past: M.E.'s
Ghost Rider #3. This is one of my oldest nearly-full comic scans, from early 2006, months before gac first appeared. I didn't make the connection that I had a scan that was missing from dcm until fan777 emailed me about the issue.
The scans are nice, but not as large as I do them now. I no longer have the comic.
And, a Christmas morning gift to scan-fans one and all:
Champion Comics #2 -- a first issue (Dec 1939), since there was no #1 (see the gcdb for some theories).
Although listed under Harvey Comics, it didn't actually become a Harvey until issue 17. The first 10 were a Worth (or Worth-Carnahan) Publication (who also did Cyclone [currently under Holyoke] & O.K. Comics); the next 5 were Champ Publishing Co.; then Harvey took over under the name Family Comics inc. See also

Other Harvey publishing confusion:
All Speeds at dcm are under Harvey although Harvey's first issue was #14; (Brookwood was the early publisher). Green Hornet, however is split: 1-6 (Helnit Publishing) are under Holyoke, and the rest under Harvey.
From what I've read, Worth & Brookwood could be said to have been absorbed by the later Holyoke, which means the early Champ/ions & Speeds should, like GH 1-6, be listed there.
