Starlet O'Hara #4 on FTP. It's a Twobyfour scan from a JVJ comic. I'm not sure why it isn't already here.

Also Bobby Benson #10 raw scans there.  We have this comic already, but the scan is tiny. This is a new scan of a JVJ comic.

Nice timing on the Starlet O'Hara #4, I was looking to see if we had a copy literally yesterday to see the Frazetta illos.

By dumb luck, I happened to get a couple of Standard books with Frazetta illos in a small batch I was bidding on for a different book entirely, will try and get those scanned fairly soon if the JVJ crew doesn't beat me to them; the find made me want to see what else we had available.  (It was a good buy, 2 books with Frazetta text illos and March of Comics #3 for under $40 after shipping...)

Anyway, thanks for the upload!

I am baffled to see Starlet O'Hara #4 go up.
I hold the exact book (from JVJ) in my hands.
Scanned it last month, but hadn't uploaded it yet.
 
So there'll be a different version coming, but I'll wait till spring or summer.
I hadn't requested that book, but Jim packed it for me. Filling up gaps in Standard titles.
My mind just boggles concerning this cosmic coincidence.
File it under "scanning bureaucracy glitch".
Jim is handling thousands of books - and I don't blame him.

I checked the date modified on my copy of Starlet O'Hara In Hollywood 04 (1949) (Standard) (JVJ-Two).cbr and it says March 15, 2010. That puts it pre-DCM and if I'm not mistaken the upload feature at GAUK was broken at the time.

Jim is handling thousands of books - and I don't blame him.

If all of us find it hard to keep track of the scans of his books, just think how hard it must be to keep track of the actual books.

US Marines #6 (A-1 #60) raw scans are going up to the FTP.  This issue will complete that ME series.  And I'm on to American Air Force also from ME.
