Looking at an old copy of the list, it shows the following as in the collection
1-32,34,37-43ç,44,45ç-47,49,50,60,60A,61,65,67-75,81,84,85,87,89,90,

It is correctly shown on the CSNS, along with some books scattered about that JVJ purchased earlier this year.

I see that Charlton "The Thing" is listed as "done."  But on the site, issue #7 is missing.

Does "done" mean "done scanning all the issues I had?"

Does anyone have a scanned copy of #7 to share?

Yes, done in this thread means all the issues that JVJ owns.

Looks like that is a book that is unscanned, so maybe it will turn up one day.

Hi,
The Hillman list says:
REAL CLUE CRIME   V1:2,3,5-12  TO  V8:1-3
but the title started with v2#4 (continues from Clue).
So... does the above include Clue, or should it start with V3:2,3..., or ???

One must remember that these originated as my personal "HAVE" lists, Len, and weren't intended for anyone else but me. In sharing them with the old GAC group, I made no effort to sanitize or sync them with GCD. It was all very loose. Please accept the info here in that spirit.

Ps, Rangerhouse has all of the issues in this title that I own. He's probably mentioned it elsewhere, but, if not...

I didn't know that JVJ and I were somewhat neighbors. Hello Sir. Orange county resident here, nice to know there is another southern californian here.

Hi, Richard,
If 400 miles qualifies as "somewhat", then I guess we are neighbors. I'm up near San Francisco, though at the moment I'm 5000 miles away in Paris, France, in my second home which probably couldn't be twisted into any sort of qualification no matter how hard we tried.

I am most definitely a Northern California guy and have been since 1958. I refuse to be dragooned into Southern Cal status. I know you guys love it down there, and do appreciate your stance, but I like our weather better, among other things.

Well yes somewhat was a nod to my former status as a North State residence in Corning CA. Lived there until the economy crashed and had to head "south" pun intended, to go to work for a "government" agency (county not fed) to keep employed. I am sure Paris is more scenic than either North or South. Maybe I will make it up to the bay area (use to live in Pinole Bay near Richmond as well) as my brother-in-law lives in San Francisco but works in Silicon Valley. We take a drive up that way once or twice a year. We were just up there this year in May doing the road trip thing to Corning, Tahoe, San Francisco, and San Simeon, then back to the OC. Let us know when you are back it would be an honor to meet you. Keep safe and happy.

Kindly

Hi,
I just want to confirm that this:
" BLACK MAGIC   V2  TO  V8:1-3ç-5 "
means he has all of the issues from vol2 on.
(by the way, what's special about 29-33?)

Len,

That's the way I've always read it.

What's special about 29-33 is that they are Non-PD

Sorry to be so cryptic, Len,
It's my own personal notation. I actually have from Vol. 1:1 to Vol. 8:5 with v8:3 coverless. I went through great lengths to remind myself of that fact.

Thx for the info!
But, why are only 29-33 non-PD? I couldn't find any reason in Overstreet or the gcbdb

You have to check the US Copyright Office site Len.
We cover it in JohnC's 'How To Check Public Domain Status Tutorial' topic.

A search for Black Magic turns up those particular issues were renewed in 1982 by Jack Kirby & Joseph H. Simon (A).
