I learned yesterday from a post at Scanarama, a UK comics site that Stevie King aka K1ngCat from the UK and a VIP member here, passed away in hospital on November 20th 2024.

Sadly, I'm unable to add any further details, the message was very brief that his wife sent to the site.

That was upsetting news. I knew Stevie was in bad health but this was a sudden shock.  Stevie was a regular, respected, knowledgeable contributor to comicbookplus.
He was also an expert on British blues, having been involved in the scene in his younger years, also writing for fanzines. Although we never met, Stevie chatted with me by email.
Not only about comics, but also about our experiences with British blues and R&B.
His passing is a great loss to many.

Thanks for sharing Paw.
Its always very sad when a fellow collector passes on.  But even more when we just never hear from them again.  I'm glad this news was shared with his online communities.
