You can see the CCA was not happy with graphic knife fight with the dogs in Ch 2+3.

Interesting that they didn't bother to color the replacement panels, but they did manage a number of fixes by just removing lines and/or colors from the original plates(?): Page 2, center panel, the "YAIEEEEE!"; Page 4, middle, the pilot parachuting from his burning MIG and the word "bloody" in the caption; Page 5, the "RAT-TAT-TAT" sound effects (weird!); Page 11, top center and last two panels, more "RAT-TAT-TAT" and gun effects; Page 12, top right panel, ditto; Page 13 center left panel, flames; Page 19, top left two panels, dog howling. Similar changes seem to have been made to all Issues 6-13, some more radical than others.

Thanks for adding more details about the changes lrek.  I find it fascinating to see what they changed and didn't and how they would do it.

Nice ifc upgrade. Weirdly, I was just looking at this the other day and thinking about doing it.
