It's great to see John Severin art in this issue.  He excelled in period and historical stories, as is evidenced in PRIZE WESTERN and EC's FRONTLINE COMBAT and TWO-FISTED TALES.

The cover reminds me of what early (1971-1985) Jonah Hex (as  illustrated by Tony DeZuniga) may have looked like before he had his face mangled up and branded.
