Whatever accommodations archive.org may have made are irrelevant here. Best to err on the side of caution. The team here is doing a great job researching and posting material that is confirmed as PD. I am not anticipating any such thing, but I think it would be great if Marvel and DC, among others, would recognize the commitment everyone here has made to PD material, and would release digital copies to be hosted here. Yes, it's a fantasy, but fantasy is what GA comics are about.
