Of interest to me was the first story on Tom Molineaux, the US bare-knuckle prize fighter who was an ex-slave that had won his freedom.  On Dec. 03, 1810 he would meet UK champion Tom Cribbs and lose in their first meeting under suspicious circumstances.  The comic tells a version that sounds very pro American and nothing like the historic write ups on the net.  To read more about the fight try this link - http://tinyurl.com/p97o22f
