Description: This Archive contain the Rocketman stories from Scoop Comics #1 to #3; Punch Comics #9 to #21, excluding #12 which had Rocket Boy instead; as well as Red Seal Comics #22. I’ve also included his appearances as Zip-Jet (St. John Pub.) in Zip-Jet #1 and #2 which were reprints from the original stories but with artwork and dialogue, replaced or redrawn. Lastly, I’ve added the Rocketboy stories from Scoop and Punch Comics.
It should be noted that Zip-Jet #1 contains a redrawn version of the “missing” story from Punch Comics #17 with the title “Green Scaled Justice”.

Please note, that Punch 17 could be included and Punch 21 unavailable. The coverless Punch issue is still unknown.

To date,  Grand Comics Database still believes that the best guess for the Rocketman story in Punch Comics #21 is "The Spider Master" which is the same title of the Punch Comics nn (inc) upload available on DCM.
In any case,  the story in Zip-Jet #1 with the title “Green Scaled Justice” should be a redrawn version of the “missing” story from Punch Comics, either #17 or #21.

I will make a note of the possible error in my uploads of Part 2 and Part 3.

The description of Punch Comics #21 sold by Heritage Auctions on September 9, 2006 states:
"Punch Comics #21 Mile High pedigree (Chesler, 1947) Condition: FN-. Paul Gattuso cover. Rocketman story features hypodermic needles. "
It should be noted that the first panel of The Rocketman story in the upload of Punch Comics nn (inc) on DCM, shows a doctor about to stab Rocketgirl with a hypodermic needle. This appears to support the opinion that nn is indeed #21.

Hi, thanks so much for posting this collection! I'm hoping to use an image from this collection within an art project, and was wondering-- is there any chance you might be able to furnish a hi-res version of a particular page? The quality of these scans is great, but a 300 dpi version of one particular page would mean the world to me.

Hi apeppard, it would depend on which page exactly you wanted but most likely the images here are as good as you'll get.
If you open the collection in PREVIEW and find the page you want and tel us what page it is here in a comment here we could tell you if a bigger image were available.
