Comic Name: Punch Comics 20 (no ifc,ibc) -upgrade (23.22 MB)
Description: Formerly shared as "Chesler mystery comic (coverless)", so scans are named 'Chesler-p000' etc)
Later upgraded with fc + bc from HAG
Confirmed as PUNCH COMICS #20.
See rangerhouse's PUNCH 20 (DIFF VER) LINK for an explanation.
===
A 48-page comic featuring Rocketman, Master Key, and Crime on the Run. It's not an issue of Punch, or the 1946 Atomic reprint issue.
The comic had no cover and is missing the indicia.

I tend to think this is an issue of Punch, but it doesn't conform to the data we have on any issue, especially ones not indexed by the GCD.

This book still looks good to me as #18
GCD's #18 has "statement of ownership" isn't this usually later in the year ?
That's my 2 cents hope it helps

Just a guess, but could it be a previously unknown issue of Scoop?  Both Rocketman and The Master Key appeared in that comic.

It's definitely not Punch #18, as I have a copy of that and it does not match (one of several I still need to scan).

If it helps... the chicken humor themed one-pager on p. 27 is by Jack Cole (unsigned). Cole worked mostly for Chesler in 1938-40, although some of his material was reprinted by Chesler...
