Comment: A brilliant madman has edited together a goodly number of episodes of the "Black Dwarf". This incredibly obscure crimefighter is so unutterably strange that all I can say is that I wish I could remember where I read his origin story so I might understand why the Dwarf is of normal height when in civilian dress but of dwarvish height when in the garb of his alter ego. This is so good it will make your teeth hurt, your toes curl, your eyes pin back... Don't skip this absurb delight!!!

Comment: "The Black Dwarf" seems to be a goofball spit take on Street & Smith's pulp psycho The Spider. Totally insane stuff with great, explosive lettering and an art style that brings to mind DC's Paris & Sprang while wholly being its own thing.

Comment: THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! I have LOVED the BLACK DWARF ever since encountering him in the mid-60s via the Super Comics IW reprints. Incredible artwork and lettering! Paul Gattuso has been credited with the art... I wonder if he did that great and distinctive lettering. I hope to find more of his stuff on here. All Black Dwarf / Gatusso stuff appreciated. THANK YOU AGAIN! I have waited DECADES to read these tales!!!
