Ellen writes a scathing exposè, then learns Vance’s most recent book—where he declared his love for her—was written by him, personally. Fortunately, Ellen’s editor changed her story and kept Vance’s secret. She and Vance will wed.

The barn catches on fire and Patsy rescues Denise. She’s cured of her desire to be a star, and agrees to marry Pete.
