A pleasant surprise. A Simon & Kirby title I was unfamiliar with.

I was hoping that these would show up during that wonderful Hillman blitz of a couple of months back. None of them showed up then, but now here they are--all four of them, all as nice-looking examples. What a great surprise! Thanks to all who made this possible, especially JVJ.

It's pleasantly offbeat (or is that just plain weird?) to see Simon & Kirby doing wacky teen stories in a universe distantly parallel to Archie (or any of the other teen titles of the era). Just plain nice art from Dan Barry and Suchorsky and even Jack Keller (the mind boggles). A gem of a series, with some occasional "headlights" activity for the Wertham-adverse.
