At first deemed frauds like everyone else, the estate lawyers noticed that little Abernathy looked exactly like a old portrait of Abernathy Begley, the founder of the Begley estate.

This double then tries to live Frank's life getting him into all sorts of trouble. Eventually Frank's wife Alice, drugs the double with spiked tea. When the double falls unconscious it ceases to exist.
