Synopsis: June works in a factory to finance her younger sister Delia’s art education. June dates Delia’s art teacher Rod, and decides Delia should change her focus to fashion design so she won’t wind up a “starving artist.” When June smashes a painting Delia wanted to enter in a contest, Rod breaks up with her. Delia, depressed, drops her studies and goes to work in the factory with June. Remorseful, June poses for a portrait painted by Delia. Delia wins a prize and returns to art school and June reconciles with Rod.

Ken and Helen get back together.
