Bokka later seeks revenge on Kaänga and kidnaps Ann. Kaänga frees her and feeds the treasure hunters to the crocodiles.

Her wounds drive her mad and she begins to wantonly slaughter the jungle animals. Simba frees his cubs. Briffo calls a jungle council and demands that Mrs. Simba be killed. Simba and Mrs. Simba, now recovered, appear at the council and Simba kills Briffo, re-asserting his place as king.
