confusing jrs
« on: March 15, 2015, 11:42:11 PM »
Hi,     cyager69 added this to the new "Captain Marvel Jr. 035 (#34 in indica) (diff ver)" upload:
(by the way, it's indicia, Latin plural of indicium, and pronounced "in-dish-ee-uh" according to the nice folks at dictionary.com).

Comment:    Something appears a little fishy with this and the Capt Marvel jr 036. The cover for #35 says capt marvel jr battles a new villain Silvana jr, but there is no story in that issue. In the following download titled #36 the cover describes a tournament but again there is no such story in the issue, however the first story in the download numbered CM 36 has capt marvel jr battling Savana jr, the same story described on the cover of CM jr 35. I think someone has mixed up the covers and issues somehow.

Somebody did; but that somebody was working at Fawcett in the 40's.  One issue of Captain Marvel Junior doesn't exist; 34 if you go by the cover or 35 if you go by the indicia.  And the contents of the book got out of sync as well.

It may have something to do with the switch back to monthly after the war.

I suspect we should put a note to this effect, so it won't come up again. You want to take care of it Eric as you seem to know heads up about it?
