Time for a nice JVJ scan:

DARK MYSTERIES #3

Very fun pre-code horror from Story Comics.
Sadly the last issue Jim had in store.
I have maybe ordered one or two more from my pocket money...
Ach, just wait for it.
I work on comleting all the horror books.

Time to get rid of a first "doublette" scan:

STARLET O' HARA #4

Another scanner did this book before me.
Happened three or four times more.
That's my bad for storing scans for weeks and months...
I always keep a stack of scans in my drawer - and won't upload more than two per week.
Because I won't overfeed you with material.
And I choose which genre might fit...
Yeah, I'm a freak.

Like the wizard from the Arabian Nights, Tilliban, we should wander the streets offering 'New comics for old! New comics for old!' See if it works. Alladin's wife fell for it. While we're at it, we might try 'New wine for old!' And hope for the best. Karen and I are off tomorrow to celebrate my birthday with lunch at De Vinis Illustribus and a bottle of 1949 Clos de Vougeot plus whatever Lionel brings to the table. DVI being our favorite wine merchant in Paris and an invite to his table something to treasure and, surely, savor.

Then it's off on Thursday to Breda and some measure of fun and games. Any DCM members attending the Strip Festival Breda please come up and say hello. I look SOMETHING like the avatar painting, just not quite so distinguished. You might find me at the Flesk/Spectrum booth as John brought some ImageS over and is giving me some space to display/sell them.

I'll see YOU, Tillmann, the following week.

Peace, Jim

Bouncing back from Rome (where I actually saw the Pope pass by) I offer you another infamous DigiCam edit:

EERIE #13

Great cover, weak issue. Yeah, I'm frank with you.
Gee, how much pizza and pasta can a guy eat?!
Answer: A lot!
