Packed and ready to take to Tilliban in Paris:
CENTAUR - NONE:
I'm sorry but I believe the coverless #18 turned out be #19, I have no idea why I think I have AMF V2:5, and Funny Picture Stories V3:1 is on site.

COMIC MEDIA - 10 comics and a few index cards:
All-True Romance 3,7,14,16
Danger 1
Dear Lonely Hearts 2,5,7 (my list mistakenly says "5-7" but it's "5,7")
Horrific 11
Terrific 14 (coverless)

STANDARD - 9 comics and 9 index cards:
Adventures into Darkness 7,8
Out of the Shadows 6,8,12
The Unseen 5,8,9,10,15

Given leeway to actually CHOOSE some additional 40 comics, I have opted to complete the PREMIER COMICS section (or non-section) at DCM. All I can say is "You'll be surprised and delighted." 36 comics - Crime, Horror, Mad parody, Romance and Western. Five titles, five genres. It'll beat the hell out of the Iger Shop stuff I'm ignoring, Tiliban.

See you in a month or less.

@Jim: Sounds very nice, Jim, I'm thrilled!
And honored to scan those books.

@all others: Jim actually REFUSED to bring Ajax and Gillmor comic books to Paris.
Europe has seen too much misery as it is...

I still hope to upload some real 50s trash - someday.
But of course Jim is right to push for quality.

HEY! There ARE those questions at Customs that ask if you're bringing any contraband into the country! I don't like to fudge the truth.

LOL, aren't crime comics still illegal in Great Britain?

Yeah.  It's because America does crime better than Britain, and they're jealous. ;-)

Box arrived and contents confirmed.  There was a bit of a scare as there was a large label on the box "Received in damaged condition" on the box with some large pieces of duct tape holding it together, but all the comics were in a single plastic bag inside apparently unharmed so I guess it was just the box that got it.  I'll try to do these soon, but probably won't finish until after the term lets out in May.

Just wondering if anyone is planning to do the Fox Westerns, and the last 2 Western Crime Busters (Trojan) (6 & 7) (Wally Wood art)?

Sorry, not on my radar.

I'm sure RH will be getting to them sometime.  He's doing more than a single box at an exchange.

Just checking on the FH Fights: the lists above have only Fight 85, but I have an old notation on my master file that says Jim has Fights 18,25,29,32. Does anyone have them? Are they in the scan-pipeline?

(also Jungles 31,56,64 - need cfs; & Rangers 7,15)

My early Fights seem to have been the first casualties of the scanning project. No one knows where they are. Somewhere between Palo Alto and Fantagraphics Books and Jon the Scanner and Palo Alto again, they disappeared. Lack of oversight on my part and issuing unclear instructions from Paris were mighty contributors to the problem. Be that as it may, if anyone knows the whereabouts of my Fights, I'd love to find them.
