How many comic book have been printed?

I am always having these random thoughts.

Today I was wondering how many comic books have been printed.
How many different issues total.
Say Action went up to 600, plus the 600 or so of Detective, and on and on.

Just an idle thought....

LOL ...I too have an inquiring mind that such thoughts float about the gray matter. I used to have shelves of encyclopedias, dictionaries, reference and Readers Digest-"What,Why,Who,When+How" books  (they are in storage). Now I must spend 10-15 hrs a day just lurking around the internet from one item that leads to another and another. I just missed out on the computer science classes in school but I sure do make up for it now.
