I have just read the KARA THE JUNGLE PRINCESS story in THE FIGHTING YANK #21. Love it, love it! The story depicts their fight against Volkar, the fiendish Lord of the Volcano who wishes to invade Kara and Kit's home city of Arohiti. At one point, they even use the wings they captured from the Bird people to fly to the volcano to investigate the rumblings and the dead vegetation they find on the way there. I don't know who did the art, but it wasn't Kara's regular artist as she is wearing an enitrely different costume.
